This serigraphy parrot shirt is made in Costa Rica with 100% cotton material, natural colored. Being 100% cotton guarantees no microplastics will remain at sea. The ink used to print over the shirts is oil-based. The shirt was made in collaboration with the amazing Costarican artist and entrepreneur Eduardo Rojas of Asequir. The Yellow-Naped Parrot (Amazona auropalliata) belongs to the Psittacidea family and is associated with the Tropical Dry Forest. The species considered in danger of extinction, mainly due to its demand on the black market, since it has an incredible ability to mimic the human voice, and because of the destruction of its habitat. In El Jobo, Equipo Tora Carey studies its movements, feeding habitats, and reproduction patterns to conserve its’ populations and the ecosystem on which it depends.
